Deposit-Sale Conditions

The Mon Joli Trésor boutique accepts branded ready-to-wear items for women, as well as bags, shoes and accessories (jewelry, belts, scarves, etc.), under the following conditions:

  • AUTHENTICITY & COUNTERFEITS

The items that the customer deposits must be certified authentic. Thus, for luxury items, the depositaries undertake to provide us with proof of the authenticity of the item (card and / or invoice) and guarantee that the product offered for sale is not a counterfeit or does not subject to a sales ban. We grant ourselves the right to have an item appraised without certification or to refuse it in the event of doubts about its authenticity.

In the event that, despite our precautions, a counterfeit or prohibited product is offered to Mon Joli Trésor, the custodian runs the risk that the item will be seized by the authorities, who could keep it or store it. destroy. The custodian is in this case fully responsible for the article in question.

In the event that a counterfeit article is nevertheless brought to be sold, the transaction will be canceled and the depositary will assume the reimbursement of the part received by the sale to the buyer. The depositary must also bear all the procedural costs related to the sale of counterfeit goods, without the latter being able to claim any right to compensation.

  • SELLABILITY

Items must be seasonal, trendy, and in good condition (cleaned, ironed, and stain-free). Each item is carefully checked by us in order to offer the best service to our customers.

  • COMMISSIONS

The selling price of each item will be decided by mutual agreement between the custodian and the store. Mon Joli Trésor receives a 50% commission on each item sold, and the custodian receives the other half. The commission for the custodian will be due only after a period of 14 days after the sale (this ensures a margin of return for buyers as well as a reasonable period of administrative procedures). For items of very high value (eg luxury bags), the shop commission is lower, depending on the agreed selling price.

  • EXPOSURE DURATION

The items will be on display for a period of one month in the Mon Joli Trésor boutique. The custodian will be notified by SMS when the deadline has expired and will be invited to collect their unsold items and / or the money owed to them. It is also possible to exhibit unsold items for an additional period of one month at a reduced price, according to the will of the custodian.

Custodians are urged to pick up their unsold items promptly. Exceeded a period of 6 months after the sale, Mon Joli Trésor considers the items as having been abandoned and then becomes the owner. Thus, the shop is entitled to donate the items to charities or to resell them at a very low price during markets and flea markets, without the custodian being able to claim due.

  • PURCHASE

The purchase only concerns luxury bags and accessories with the agreement of Mon Joli Trésor. The purchase of the articles implies that these therefore remain the property of the store. Therefore, the resale price will be estimated by the store without the advice of the seller.

  • TRAVEL & APPOINTMENTS

If the custodian cannot come, we can pick up the items at his home. It is also possible to arrange an appointment outside of store opening hours in order to deposit or collect items.

All of the Deposit Conditions are detailed in the General Conditions of the Mon Joli Trésor website, which you must read and accept before depositing your items in our store.
